Concept design for a holiday house located on a steep mountain slope on Tara Mountain, at 1000 meters above sea level. The house is partially embedded into the terrain to enhance structural stability, energy efficiency, and a strong connection to the landscape.

The lower level is designed in reinforced concrete, responding to the demanding topography, while the upper level is conceived as a timber structure, reducing the overall mass and creating a warmer, more natural atmosphere.

The architectural shaping is rooted in the local vernacular heritage of mountain architecture, reinterpreted through a contemporary spatial and material approach. The roof is clad with shingle-like tiles combined with metal elements, ensuring durability and a clear regional character.
